LEARN: Skate Training at Gilbert Street
We're stoked to be running our weekly Skate Training lessons at Daily Grind Gilbert St.
Daily Grind Skate Training provides a great opportunity for up & coming skaters to learn new skills, develop resilience, and gain self-confidence while skating in a safe, indoor environment, as well as make some new friends in the skate community.
We offer 2 skate lessons every Monday and Tuesday, which are open to everyone aged between 3 and 17:
Beginners sessions: 4pm to 5pm
(learn basic board control, pushing, balancing, tic-tac, etc)
Mixed Beginner & Intermediate sessions: 5.30pm to 6.30pm
(learn the basic, or if you already have some experience, build on your foundations, learn to drop in, etc)
Daily Grind, 100 Gilbert St, Adelaide.
Training is held in store on our custom built ramp, and is run by Zack Lycos, who many of you would have already met in our stores.
Cost: $15 per session.
Each skateboarding lesson is limited to 5 participants, so best to book in advance.
What to bring
Participants are required to bring their own:
- Skateboard (must be in good working order)
- Drink bottle
- Knee and elbow pads are optional, however, the use of them may increase confidence.
If new COVID-19 restrictions come in place and we need to postpone a class, we will contact you directly to advise you about your available options. These may include a free date / time change, or a store credit voucher depending on the circumstances of the cancellation.
